Residential Landlord and Tenant

Whether you are a Landlord or Tenant, we can advise on residential premises-related matters including:

  • Recovery of property and collection of rent arrears - We know that landlords value a cost-effective and efficient service for recovering possession of rented property, and collecting rent arrears. We deal with the service of notices, the issue of court proceedings and enforcement of possession orders on a fixed fee basis. For more details, and to download a free PDF detailing this service and our fees, please see our Property Recoveries page
  • Assisting tenants - We also act for tenants in relation to defending their rights against landlords
  • Service charge disputes - Service charges have always caused disputes between landlords and tenants. We act for both landlords and tenants in resolving these disputes through negotiation, the County Courts or the Leasehold Valuation Tribunal. We also deal with the collection of service charge arrears
  • Breach of covenants - We advise on available remedies in respect of breaches of covenants by either residential landlords or tenants
