Spratt Endicott launches a Family Mediation Service

January 06, 2012

Leading law firm Spratt Endicott has announced the launch of its Family Mediation service this month, after solicitor Patrick Mulcare completing his training with Resolution as a Family Mediator.

Patrick, who underwent the mediation training with Resolution, formerly known as the Solicitors’ Family Law Association, is now qualified to provide family mediation services both to couples who approach Spratt Endicott direct and to those individuals who are referred to Spratt Endicott by their own solicitors.

Increasing numbers are turning to mediation and Spratt Endicott’s latest service offering will allow mediation clients to seek a safe and unbiased way to resolve issues by talking through their concerns in an open and honest environment.

Patrick Mulcare, a solicitor within Spratt Endicott Solicitors’ Family Law department, comments: “I am delighted to have passed my training to become a Resolution Trained Family Mediator. As a family mediator based in Banbury, my new role will allow me to help couples find a cost-effective and equitable solution to their difficulties.”

Mediation sessions usually last around 90 minutes and Patrick confirms that depending on the nature and complexity of the issues involved, couples may only require between two and five meetings to resolve their issues.
He concludes: “When relationships break down, a range of issues can arise and mediation helps people to address them without the need to go to court. In mediation, couples can meet and talk openly about their problems and what it is that they want, in order to reach a lasting understanding which is satisfactory to them both.”

Spratt Endicott’s new Family Mediation service is available both to clients direct and via other law firms. In addition, Spratt Endicott continues to offer clients Collaborative Law and traditional court-based family law solutions. Spratt Endicott’s free 20 minute Options Meeting gives individuals and couples the opportunity to consider which route will be right for them.
