Charlotte Presents Half-Marathon Cheque to The Katharine House Hospice and Signs up for Santa Fun Run

On Tuesday 25th October, Charlotte Robeson presented The Katharine House Hospice with a cheque after raising £694 completing the Great North Run in September. She now has the running bug and has signed up to the Hospice’s annual Santa Fun Run in December!

Charlotte, of the Residential Property team at Spratt Endicott, raised the money in loving memory of her Grandad, who was cared for by The Katharine House Hospice. As well as the hospice being a cause close to her heart, it seemed a great opportunity that The Katharine House Hospice was also the firm’s Charity of the Year. Charlotte received fantastic support from Spratt Endicott and her colleagues and everyone was delighted at the amount she raised for Katharine House.

As well as gaining sponsorship from Spratt Endicott and its staff, Charlotte raised funds via her family and friends who encouraged and supported her through the tough training period and eventual 13.1 mile race.

She said of her achievement: “It was a challenge, but I’m just so proud that I made it to the finish line. Thank you again to everybody for their support, words of encouragement and donating to this amazing cause.”

Spratt Endicott is delighted to support The Katharine House Hospice as its Charity of the Year, and a number of Spratt Endicott staff have signed up for the Santa Fun Run.

The Santa Fun Run is taking place on Sunday, 4th December at Spiceball Park in Banbury and aims to raise money for the hospice whilst providing some festive fun for the whole family. Everyone who signs up will receive a Santa outfit to run in and, once completed, will receive a medal and a mince pie.

Last year, the Santa Fun Run raised a fantastic £20,000. This was enough to keep the hospice running for 2 whole days.

To enter the fun run, it’s £15 for adults, £8 for children, free for children under 6 or £40 for a family. You can choose whether you would like to complete the 4km or 1km course. There will also be live music, food and entertainment.
