Festive Fundraising raises nearly £2,500 for Katharine House Hospice

December 21st 2016

There is a lot of Christmas cheer around our offices this December, as our festive fundraising has raised nearly £2,500 for our Charity of the Year, Katharine House Hospice.

All our staff worked hard, as well as having a lot of fun in the process, raising much-needed funds for Katharine House Hospice.  Spratt Endicott has already raised over £800, so the festive fundraising means that we now have donated nearly £3,300 to date.

On Monday 19th December we invited Victoria Cliff-Hodges and Chris Higgins, from Katharine House Hospice, to our Banbury office to present our cheque for £2,456.96.

Chris Higgins, Communications Officer at Katharine House Hospice, comments:  “Spratt Endicott is a great local business which has been serving Banbury and surrounding areas for over 50 years, and we’re hugely grateful to everyone there for their fantastic support this year. From hamper raffles and Christmas jumper days to the team of Santas who took part in the Santa Fun Run, the staff really got in to the fundraising spirit, and we always enjoy visiting them to see what they’ve been up to.”

Spratt Endicott will continue to raise further funds for Katharine House Hospice into the New Year and David Endicott, Managing Director, says:  “We are proud to support the fantastic work that Katharine House Hospice does and are delighted that we can play our part in helping to keep their vital services running.”

The team at Katharine House looks after almost 300 patients at any one time in the hospice and out in the community, and it costs £10,000 every day to keep their services running.  To find out more about the work that Katharine House does and ways that you could get involved in fundraising, please visit their website here.
