Local MP visits Spratt Endicott Solicitors following inclusion in prestigious Parliamentary Review

February 23rd 2018

A leading Oxfordshire law firm has appeared alongside Prime Minister Theresa May in The Parliamentary Review – a series of documents published by Westminster Publications Ltd with the aim of sharing knowledge and raising standards.

Established by former minister The Rt Hon David Curry in 2010, The Parliamentary Review’s release is now a key fixture in the political calendar.

Spratt Endicott Solicitors, a legal 500 law firm with offices in Oxfordshire, Northamptonshire and Buckinghamshire, features alongside the Prime Minister and a small number of outstanding organisations in a document that looks back on the year in the legal sector and Westminster. The main aim of the Review is to showcase best practice as a learning tool to the public and private sector.

In recognition of Spratt Endicott’s inclusion within the Parliamentary Review, Victoria Prentis MP, who is Member of Parliament for North Oxfordshire, visited the Spratt Endicott offices to offer her congratulations to Managing Director, David Endicott, and Chairman, John Spratt, on the firm’s exceptional standards within the legal sector and its dedication to best practice.

Parliamentary Review

Across all policy areas, The Parliamentary Review is sent to over half a million leading policy makers, stakeholders in industry and other relevant individuals. The articles in the Review act as both a blueprint for success and a template for reform.

The Prime Minister commented that ‘this year’s Parliamentary Review follows a significant year in British politics’ and this is reflected in the articles from leading journalists and best practice representatives alike.

The PM’s former cabinet colleague, Sir Eric Pickles, Chairman of the Review, said: “It has never been more important for government to hear the views of business and the public sector in a constructive forum. It is also a vital time to share best practice and progress.”

The Parliamentary Review’s executive director Daniel Yossman concurred, saying “Spratt Endicott Solicitors and other hardworking organisations from across the country have come together to make the Review possible. Sharing knowledge and insight with both peers and government is essential work and I am delighted that this year’s Review will reach every corner of the British economy.”

He added: “It’s always a real joy to hear from policy makers who tell me that something they have read in the Review has had an effect on their thinking. It is my belief that innovation is contagious, if only it is given the platform to spread. It is the Review’s purpose to provide this platform and I am confident we are fulfilling it.”

David Endicott, Managing Director at Spratt Endicott, said of featuring in the Parliamentary Review: “To be featured in the Parliamentary Review is a real honour and it’s testament to how far we’ve come as a business over the last 15 years that we were asked to contribute. We pride ourselves on the high standard of our work and the specialist expertise we offer our clients, so to be held up as an example of best practice just serves to reinforce the belief we have in the quality of the legal services we provide.”

David Endicott and John Spratt have invited Victoria Prentis MP to a gala evening, which is to be held at the Terrace Pavilion in the House of Commons on March 5th and is an occasion to celebrate the success and hard work of those who have contributed to the release of the Parliamentary Review.

Victoria Prentis MP commented: “I am delighted that Spratt Endicott have had the opportunity to contribute to this year’s Parliamentary Review. It is appropriate recognition for all the hard work and helpful advice they have given the people of North Oxfordshire and beyond over the last fifteen years. I am looking forward to welcoming them to Westminster in March to celebrate their achievement.”
