Spratt Endicott Solicitors reaffirms its Top Tier status and celebrates its greatest number of recommended lawyers in The Legal 500 UK 2017

by Spratt Endicott Solicitors | Oct 17, 2017
Spratt Endicott Solicitors has again been recommended in 10 practice areas in The Legal 500 UK 2017, with a record number of 26 lawyers receiving individual recommendations.

The Legal 500 is the leading guide to law firms in the UK, and this year Spratt Endicott moved up and held its rankings in 10 practice areas.  What is particularly impressive is the number of recommended lawyers, leading individuals and next generation lawyers.  These recommendations reflect the firm’s ongoing ethos of developing deep expertise and collaboration between departments, and providing the right solutions and value to each individual client.

Spratt Endicott has been recommended in the practice areas of Corporate and Commercial, Employment, Commercial Property, Personal tax, Trusts and Probate, Family Law, Agriculture and Estates, Dispute Resolution, Intellectual Property and Insolvency and Corporate Recovery.  The Debt Recovery department once again achieved Top Tier status, underlining the unique quality of its offering.

Notably, the Private client practice areas of Family Law; Personal tax, trusts and probate together with Agriculture and estates are all ranked highly within the region, alongside much larger firms. These teams not only have two ‘Leading Individuals’ in David Endicott and Christopher Goldingham, but now have two ‘Next Generation Lawyers’ in Gemma Davison and Tom McInerney; a newly introduced recommendation that recognises senior Associates who make a discernible difference to the quality of the services offered by the firm.

John Spratt, who is recommended as head of the Corporate and Commercial team and is praised for delivering ‘calmness and reliability in the most exacting of circumstances’ said:

“In the 2017 Legal 500’s editorial, one of our clients has described our firm as one that ‘provides the advice of a large firm with the personal touch of a small one’ which is something I am very proud of.  The fact that this year so many of our lawyers have been selected for recommendation is testament to the quality and expertise of our solicitors.  To receive such positive external recommendation serves to reinforce our own belief in our capabilities and justifies the pride we take in the excellent service we provide for our clients.”

The Legal 500 series has been published for 29 years. It is a client’s guide to the capabilities of individual law firms and acts as a recommendation of the best legal services providers in over 100 countries.
