by David Barton | Oct 25, 2019

The legal expertise of Spratt Endicott Solicitors has been underlined in the latest Legal 500 UK rankings, as its Debt Recovery Unit reaffirms its Top Tier status for the 4th year in a row.

Having been published for 32 years, The Legal 500 series is a client’s guide to law firms, acting as a recommendation of the best legal services providers in 100 countries, with the rankings for 2019-2020 having just been announced.

Being ranked amongst the Top Tier, means Spratt Endicott’s Debt Recovery Unit is rated amongst the best that the UK has to offer and is testimony to the level of expertise on offer within the department.

In addition to Debt Recovery, the ranking also provided a boost to the firm’s Company Commercial team, which saw its ranking increase to Tier 3, while David Endicott, has maintained ‘Leading Individual’ status for an 8th year, which sees him join the Legal 500 Hall of Fame.

In other individual news, Gemma Davison and Pete Gardner have maintained their ‘Next Generation Partner’ status for a third and second year respectively; a title that recognises Associates who make a significant difference to the quality of the services they offer. While Jenny Loynes and Catherine O’Riordan were ranked as Rising Stars amongst the Legal 500 for the first time, signifying that they’re lawyers of note and ones to watch out for.

Across the firm Spratt Endicott is recommended across 11 practice areas with 18 Recommended Lawyers.

The Debt Recovery Unit  received Top Tier status for the fourth year in succession, being noted for its ‘excellent advice’ and ‘going the extra mile to ensure a successful recovery.’

Richard Gwynne, Director and Head of Spratt Endicott’s Debt Recovery Unit, said: “To be ranked amongst the best firms in the UK to provide Debt Recovery is a huge honour, but one that we feel is well deserved. As a department, we work extremely hard to deliver the highest standards of expert advice and guidance to our clients, so it’s tremendously rewarding when this is officially recognised.”

Andrew Woods, Managing Director of Spratt Endicott, said: “The release of the Legal 500 rankings is an exciting time of year. It provides us with an external view as to how our services perform. Whilst we’re confident that we’re doing a good job, it’s wonderful to get affirmation of that fact, and this year’s results have served to underline the high standards of the expertise we impart to our clients. A huge well done to all of the respective departments and in particular those individuals who have been recognised.”
