December 13th 2021

Spratt Endicott Solicitors has appointed Guy Stephenson as Head of Rural and Residential Property, a newly created role encompassing the firm’s successful Residential Conveyancing and Agriculture & Estates practices.

Stephenson has been a solicitor for over 20 years and has vast experience in both residential and commercial property-related matters including property sales, purchases, and landlord and tenant management issues. He has particular expertise in advising on the sale and purchase of high value properties, such as estates, farms and country houses.

Spratt Endicott welcome Guy back into the firm, where he was a partner until 2011. Since 2011 he has worked as a partner in the property department of Hamilton Downing Quinn and more recently  was co-head of Real Estate at Westminster-based Lee Bolton Monier-Williams.

Managing Director Andrew Woods commented: “We are delighted to welcome Guy back to Spratt Endicott.

“He joins at an incredibly exciting time for the business and I can think of nobody better to lead our Rural and Residential Property department into the future.

Guy has a reputation as an incredibly accomplished solicitor, and brings with him a wealth of experience in property law. We are looking forward to seeing how the practice develops in the coming months and years under his stellar leadership.”

On his appointment, Stephenson added: “I am excited to be re-joining Spratt Endicott at a time when they are growing.

“I know that the conveyancing team has a great reputation locally, so there is potential to build on such strong foundations to make Spratt Endicott the go-to firm in the region for all residential property matters.

“With the uncertainty in the market over the past 18 months due to the pandemic and later the stamp duty holiday, it is essential that our clients know that they can trust us to deliver a responsive and high quality service when moving home.”
