Spratt Endicott Extends its Family Law Expertise in Bicester and Buckingham

February 19th 2016

Spratt Endicott has strengthened its Family Law Department with the appointment of Gemma Davison, its new Associate Solicitor and trained Mediator.

Gemma now leads the Family Law team at Spratt Endicott Truman’s Bicester office and will also be helping clients from our Buckingham office.

After qualifying as a solicitor in 2009, Gemma worked first at QualitySolicitors Truemans and Woodfines Solicitors, later joining Johnson and Gaunt Solicitors. She is a member of Resolution and the Family Mediators Association, and also of the Research Ethics Committee for the Human Research Authority based at the John Radcliffe Hospital, having been involved in various law groups over the recent years, as both Chairman and President.

Patrick Mulcare, head of Family Law at Spratt Endicott, said: “Gemma is an excellent appointment for us, and a fantastic addition to our Family Law team. She has worked extensively in Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire, building some great relationships and now has a reputation as being one of the best in her field.”

He continued: “Gemma joins us as an Associate and her appointment is a further endorsement of our commitment to providing expert Family Law services to our clients based in Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and further afield.”

Gemma has a broad experience in dealing with complex financial matters following separation and divorce. She has conducted her own advocacy in Domestic Abuse applications, Children Act and Financial Remedy matters. Additionally, Gemma specialises in acting for parents in disputes concerning living arrangements, relocation abroad, step-parent adoption and allegations of abuse. She is also able to advise on issues surrounding fertility including surrogacy, co-parenting and LGBT matters.

Gemma commented: “I have quickly settled in at Spratt Endicott Truman and am really enjoying both the working environment and the firm’s ethos. I am already busy helping clients, and this is an exciting opportunity for me, as I am delighted to lead our Family Law team in the growing towns of Bicester and Buckingham.”

Spratt Endicott Truman’s Family Law team offers clients a fixed fee initial appointment at £80 (inclusive of VAT).  This can be extremely helpful for anyone wanting to discuss their next steps and obtain initial legal advice at what can be a very stressful time.
