Spratt Endicott’s Charlotte Robeson Runs Half Marathon to Raise Funds for Charity of the Year

September 13th 2016

On Sunday 11th September 2016, Charlotte Robeson, of Spratt Endicott’s Residential Property team, completed the Great North Run in Newcastle. She raised a fantastic total of over £600 for The Katharine House Hospice, Spratt Endicott’s Charity of the Year.

Charlotte ran the race in loving memory of her Grandad, who was cared for by The Katharine House Hospice. The Hospice also provided helpful support for her family which was why Charlotte really wanted to give something back.

Charlotte described the half marathon as ‘one of her biggest challenges yet’ and finished the race in an admirable time of 4 hours 4 minutes.

As well as gaining sponsorship from Spratt Endicott and its staff, Charlotte raised funds via her family and friends who encouraged and supported her through the tough training period and eventual 13.1 mile race.

Charlotte said: “Thank you so much to everyone who supported me and donated to the charity. It was a really hot day on the Sunday which made it even more of a challenge, but I’m just so proud that I made it to the finish line. Thank you again to everybody for their support, words of encouragement and donating to this amazing cause.”

David Endicott, Managing Director at Spratt Endicott Solicitors, said: “It’s very rewarding to see our staff taking such an active part in fundraising for our charity of the year, which they do with great enthusiasm year after year.  We are also immensely proud of Charlotte; it’s a wonderful achievement, for a very worthwhile cause. “
