Spratt Endicott Solicitors’ ongoing support of Brackley Town FC

August 21st 2017

A leading regional law firm has renewed its ongoing support of Brackley Town FC for the forthcoming football season, as it continues its commitment to helping the local community.

Spratt Endicott Solicitors, which has offices in Brackley, has extended its agreement with the football club to include programme and pitch side hoarding sponsorship, as it looks to help provide Brackley Town FC with the support it needs for a successful 2017/18 season.

John Spratt, Chairman of Spratt Endicott Solicitors said: “We do what we can to provide support and assistance in the community. We established a relationship with Brackley Town FC shortly after opening our offices in the town in 2014.  Since then the relationship has gone from strength to strength.”

Spratt Endicott is a leading Legal 500 law firm with offices in Oxfordshire, Northamptonshire and Buckinghamshire, with its head office in Banbury. The firm opened brand new offices in Brackley in 2014, and, in keeping with its long-held tradition of supporting local endeavours, Spratt Endicott immediately looked to the local community to see where it could help.

Along with the football club, Spratt Endicott also supports the annual Brackley Beer Festival, the Brackley and District Band, the Brackley Town Council’s Christmas Lights as well as providing support to local schools

The 2016/17 league season saw Brackley Town FC enjoy one of its most successful ever, with the team finishing one place and just one point off the playoff places, as well as reaching the second round of the FA Cup, narrowly losing to Blackpool, a team several levels above them in the football league system. The team also reached the quarter final of the FA Trophy – its best ever position in the competition.

Brackley Town FC’s Saints Community programme also benefits many locals, as it engages with the town’s elderly residents, people with learning difficulties and those with mental health issues, providing a social facility at its weekly Wednesday meetings that typically sees over a hundred residents in attendance. The club’s development programme also reaches hundreds of girls and boys, while its Walking Football Initiative, a minimal contact sport with no running allowed and aimed at the over 50s, continues to grow.

Graham Shaw, Co-Commercial Director at Brackley Town FC said: “Spratt Endicott has formed an ongoing partnership with the club and we’re delighted to see this continue for another season. Support from regional businesses is integral to our ongoing endeavours so we’re extremely pleased by Spratt Endicott’s extended commitment. I’d like to express thanks on behalf of all of those involved with the club; it really is appreciated.”

Spratt Endicott’s Brackley office, located just off the Market Place, provides legal services to individuals and businesses in Brackley and its surrounding areas. The team at Brackley works closely with Spratt Endicott’s Banbury office, which has specialist teams providing an extensive range of legal services both locally and nationally.

“Being accessible and approachable to clients is at the core of what we do and that’s reflected in our community engagement. As a firm, we have a strong emphasis on our local roots. The Brackley office works predominately with our Brackley clients, and those based in the neighbouring villages and towns, providing property advice and support.” said Terena Barnacle, head of the Brackley office.

Michael Weightman, Residential Property Manager adds: “With the support of the Banbury office, clients also have access to the Banbury teams too, meaning we can offer a wide range of different services, including our core residential conveyancing service,”
